Jack Trammell

Jack Trammell, the Democratic Party candidate for the 7th Congressional District in 2014, is an assistant professor of sociology and director of disability support services at Randolph-Macon College, Ashland. He graduated from Grove City College, Grove City, Pa., and a master's and doctorate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University, along with a special education certification program at the University of Virginia. Trammell has been an educator at the K-12 or university level for more than 20 years. He also writes nonfiction, fiction and children's books. He lives on a farm in Louisa County wiht his wife Audrie, a special education teacher and artist. He has seven children.
