Daniel Gade

Daniel Gade is Virginia's 2020 Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate. He is challenging Democrat Mark Warner, a two-term incumbent. It's his first run for public office. Gade is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who had his right leg amputated after sustaining combat wounds in Iraq. He is a professor at American University's School of Public Affairs in Washington D.C. Gade was born and reared in Minot, N.D. and received a B.S. degree from the United States Military Academy. He earned a Masters degree and a Ph.D. in public policy and administration from the University of Georgia.
